Together, the majority of people around the world celebrated and will celebrate the coming year! 2009 came and is coming in other parts of the world. All I wish is a better world to live in, a more friendly environment and a peaceful home to stay.

Notice the small creatures crawling and working all the days of their lives. They never complain. They’re always prepared. When I was kid I hate them so much because it hurt me so much when they bite me.As time passed by I felt pity on them because I felt sorry for them when their homes were destroyed by humans.I read a story about them and it changed my feelings towards them. I realized that they’re the ones who’s teaching something to us. To be hardworking, full of perseverance and courage to pursue things. Ants are thought to be insects and somehow they ‘re here with us on earth to realize something good from small and neglected things like them.

Clocks tell time. Our life is measured by time. Of how long we live in this world. Clocks got hands; second, minute and hour hand. They’re just the same in human life. One single move (second hand)we make will affect the other aspect (minute hand) of our life and then will eventually help or destroy our entire life (hour hand).Moreover, a clock will continue to tell time if it has still batteries to run them. Just like people, we are able to do things in life and become useful in the society if we are still alive. Man’s life on earth is not eternal.If our borrowed life is taken away from us, it’s time for us to leave our temporary home-world. Clocks will also stop functioning if it’ll ran out of something which allow them to move and function.
The bottom line is, live your life to the fullest while you still have the chance. We can’t turn back time. If our time comes, we’re like clocks without batteries and just put into junk or thrown away. The same will happen to our physical body. It’ll be 6-feet below the ground and will be eaten by decomposers.
Today my country is celebrating our Independence Day. We are also remembering our Filipino heroes who sacrificed their lives just to regain our freedom from foreign oppressors. Our flag is a sign that we are a free nation-free to choose our own government and officials to run my country which is Philippines.
We may just passed by if we hear our National anthem and don’t pay respect to our National flag.Remember, the flag symbolizes our identity as a nation.
We should not forget that behind every flag are the dying soldiers, a bloody war, poor living condition, sexual harrassments and extra judicial killings happened before it was made.
May my country’s democracy lasts for a lifetime.

In sports like basketball, a ball is needed to start a game. During the game the players’ attention is at the ball. When they have the chance to grab it they look for the perfect time to pass it and what strategy they are going to use to reach the goal.
That ball can stand as the center of our daily living which is our targeted goal. When that dream or goal is in our reach you have to grab that opportunity and don’t waste it. Think on which opportunities to accept and pass on. In that way, you can concentrate on how you can score. In other words, you’ll concentrate on what you do best and gain good things with it.
A butterfly undergoes the so called stages before it can become whole as an insect. The four stages of its development are egg, larva, pupa and butterfly. Human being also have stages of development. The infant, babyhood, childhood, adolescence, adult and old adult. Can you see what’s common between these two?
The butterfly and human development both have the right time for a certain changes. In other words, we are ought for a change. Life is a constant change. We know that. Due to its fact, all we have to do is to accept those changes but we have to be careful and choosey when it comes in our decision making.
We can’t be a man if we didn’t pass the childhood years.We can’t be the one as who we are now if we were unable to build our own self.Just like the butterfly, they start from crawling to flying. We need to be patient. We need to understand the process on how to become successful in the future. You’ll see in the end that you’re soaring like a beautiful butterfly because you’d done with all those struggles and hardwork. That’s the price of your labor and for having a refined personality. You’ll just observe that people are giving you compliments just like appreciating the colorful wings of a butterfly.
I know there are only few people who are fond of reading and books. Most of the time students would prefer to look for something in the internet than go to the library and make use of the resources in there. Well, using the internet is more fun! I myself I’m still reading printed materials if I have nothing to in here.
A book is not appreciated if you don’t get something valuable in it. You’re not gonna like if it has nothing to do with you. There are instances that when a book look so old and ugly it’ll probably be disregarded. If some people see that the cover of a book is almost peeled off they would instantly reject it. What they did is judging! They didn’t know that they can get good stuffs in that poor book. They never know that their lives might change because of it.
They didn’t realize that those kinds of books contain the things that they are looking for. They might perhaps find it interesting but its too late for them to realize its worth.
In people, sometimes we judge someone because of the physical appearance. We didn’t know the good things that he can bring in us.But if you learn to know that person deeper and better you’ll find yourself liking him/her. One of my favorite mottos in life is " Appreaciation is meaningless without Understanding".
A robot is an output by intelectual people with their keen studies and massive observation. Having these inventions only prove that man is capable of thinking on much higher level. Man’s will to improve our lifestyle had made them decide to make partners that will work with normal human beings.
Humanoids or any toy robots needs batteries and programs in order to function. If something is wrong inside them they cannot perform well. You can see changes in them and they have to recharge again to be able to work again normally.
We as humans need to rest after long hours of day work. We need to recharge ourselves to regain our lost energy and start working again. Just like robots, if we don’t have set goals or programs in our life you wouldn’t know what are you going to do with your life.
Garbage bins are for garbages. These things holds all the dirty things around us. In our home we don’t want to have a messy households. That’s the reason why we use disinfectants, vaccum cleaners and air fresheners. It always feels good to be in a clean and germ-free sorrounding.
We should do the same in our life. We have to dispose all the bad things in life and put it in our garbage bins. These garbage bins shoud no longer be opened and get back what we had put into it. In other words, we should learn how to forget. Mom always told me that I have to throw all the negative things in me. I need to forget all the bad things in the past and concentrate with my present life and think more on my future. She was right. Self purifying is essential to become somebody and have a good life ahead.
A circle is made possible with the presence of center point. In Geometry, a center point is drawn to be able to draw a perfect circumference. If you observe, you have to stay in that center point if you want to see a good output.
This center point represents our source of guidance or stronghold to continue our life and make it a happy one. By having these center points our life is whole and not broken into pieces. Thus, we can cotinue to strive in spite of the problems we have. It keeps us going. So we still continue to struggles and bear the test of time by not leaving it.
As a whole, each one of us has to have our own center point to achieve good life because it serves as our life compass.
